General Photography
Here are some common questions and answers for our general photography
Depending on the weather and time of year there are a few options around the community I normally shoot at. It all depends on the style of shoot you are aiming for.
Multiple locations is the simple meaning we will shoot in different sports for the session. For example if you’ve opted for a shoot at the KPAC building we’ll get different angles in different spots of the building. It adds variety to your photos
Mornings or late evenings. It all depends on the time of year. In the winter months this would be between 9am and 11am, or earlier in the summer time around 8am, whereas in the evening I recommend around 5 to 8pm depending on the time of year
Since a vast majority of my shoots are in a park here in town, I recommend lighter colors such a blues, navy blues, whites and greys, If it is winter time avoid wearing white as it blends in with the snow
We aim to deliver all galleries within 3-4 weeks of the session date. You should receive your initial proofing gallery within 2 weeks of your session. Keep in mind, you’ll need to select your favorites in order for us to complete your gallery.
Through minor editing, removing distractions from the background, and enhancing the colors and clarity of the background, we strive for a timeless style that you can show off for year
All cancellations must be submitted within 7 days of the session date for a refund. For any rescheduled sessions, please ensure you reschedule within 48 hours to avoid a $100 rescheduling fee.
A no-show fee of $150 will be applicable if there is no cancellation or rescheduled session
Photography is our specialty, from shooting, to editing, to delivery. We provide only the edited JPEG files to you copy-right released.
Peace Park
Here are some common questions and answers for our Peace Park area
Peace Park is located along 10th Street, just across the bridge just south of McKellar Avenue.
Like all parks in Dawson Creek, there is no additional cost to enter parks. All parks are free to use
Yes, there is parking along 10th Street, across from DCSS Central Campus, and a short walk from to Peace Park. Just look for the trail and the sundial platform.
Since a vast majority of my shoots are in a park here in town, I recommend lighter colors such a blues, navy blues, whites and greys, If it is winter time avoid wearing white as it blends in with the snow
We aim to ensure that there is minimal distraction, however it is a public park. Most community members have always been accommodating to our team working in the area.
We may pause the session to let a person pass from time-to-time as required if needed.
Sports Photography

I’ve covered speed skating, curling and hockey over the years, however am always looking to expand my sports portfolio
In Speed Skating I’ve captured everything from local club practices, local, provincial, and national championships over the years. I’ve also captured a few curling events over the years and some hockey events.
In all sports events I shoot, galleries are submitted to the event organizers or host committee for distribution. These images are watermarked with our logo for advertising purposes unless specifically hired for an event (such as the 2018 BCLT)

Yes, I usally cover a wide range of events from Canada Day, Western Canada RibFest, Dawson Creek Music Festival, Mile Zero Cruisers Show N’ Shine, Fall Fair Parade to name a few of my annual events.
