Sports Photography
Sports photography is where my passion for photography truly developed and evolved. Over the years, I have spent countless hours along rink boards, in arenas, and around sporting events, capturing speed skating, tournaments, and high-energy competition as it unfolds.
Sports photography is about more than simply pressing the shutter at the right moment. It requires anticipation, timing, patience, and an understanding of the sport to capture the split-second moments that tell the story of the competition. Through years of experience, I have learned to anticipate the action rather than simply react to it, allowing me to capture genuine emotion, intense focus, determination, and the excitement of the moment.
Whether it is the intensity of a close race, the celebration of a hard-earned victory, or the quiet moments of concentration before competition begins, my goal is to create dynamic, authentic images that showcase the athletes, the atmosphere, and the story behind every event.
Events Photography
Community events are filled with moments, connections, and stories that deserve to be remembered. From parades and festivals to live shows, tournaments, community gatherings, and special events, I enjoy being there with a camera to document the energy and atmosphere as it naturally unfolds.
Event photography is about capturing more than just the main attraction. I focus on creating a balanced collection of images that tells the complete story of an event—from wide photographs that capture the atmosphere, scale, and excitement of being there to detailed, close-up moments that might otherwise be missed in the rush of the day.

Travel Photography
Travel has been an important part of my life and photography journey since 2008, taking me to many different places and giving me the opportunity to experience a wide variety of landscapes, communities, and memorable moments. Over the years, I have taken approximately 40 flights throughout North America, along with countless bus and road trips across Western Canada.
Many of these journeys have been connected to sports and photography, but travel has also been a meaningful part of my life with family. From visiting relatives and exploring new communities to camping trips and road adventures, these experiences have provided countless opportunities to discover new places and appreciate the moments that happen along the way.
Travel has helped shape the way I approach photography by teaching me to look beyond the obvious and pay attention to the details that make a place or experience unique. Whether it is a breathtaking landscape, a quiet moment on the road, a familiar family tradition, or something completely unexpected, I enjoy documenting the places and experiences that make each journey memorable.
